What I advocate

There are about as many training programmes out there as there are people who are looking for them. The fact that so many people do want to make a change but fall prey to bad advice is why I am on a mission to eradicate rubbish advice and provide useful information. Firstly one has to realise that if you find yourself in a less than desirable physical condition, it did not happen overnight.

And so likewise getting fit and building the body you desire will not happen overnight either. The lack of discipline that has brought you to where you are can only be undone by being disciplined to get out of it.
Now before you embark on this fantastic journey of discovery or rediscovery you must prepare yourself to learn some things that you did not know before.

Your life is your responsibilty, not the personal trainer at the gym or anybody else's. You must hold yourself accountable. The rewards will be well worthit. Self discipline and self determination will be your biggest asset in turning your life around.

Check yourself, how much do you want to change? What price are you willing to pay to enjoy a fitter, healthier you? Once you have decided that you will give this your all, go to the 'What you need to know about your body' article and start learning the truth about how your body works.
